Netball SA is responsible for the governance, development, promotion, and administration of netball throughout South Australia and has the responsibility for servicing its 32,000 members, the operations of Netball SA Stadium and the running of its elite team, the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

This is a permanent full-time role, that will require regular work outside of normal office hours, including weekends in accordance with Netball SA and Adelaide Thunderbirds programs. Interstate and intrastate travel may also be required on occasion. 

What you will be doing and will be responsible for:

Reporting to the Netball Manager, this role is responsible for providing excellent customer centric service and support to Netball SA’s affiliated associations and clubs.  The role will provide support and guidance to members around participation programs, governance, member protection, complaints, competition, and membership database assistance.

This role will encourage best practice and increase participation in Netball in South Australia.  This role will be proactive and assist associations and clubs with their plans and support development in all areas of Netball including facilities.

Key Responsibilities and Success Areas include:

  • Stakeholder Relationships (members, Local Govt etc.), including Sport Integrity support.
  • Community/Schools partnerships
  • Participation Programs
  • Competitions
  • Facilities

To be successful in the role you will also demonstrate: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role or similar organisation.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Complaint and grievance handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Drivers Licence
  • Working with Children Check.
