The Director of Operations is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day operational management of Baseball SA. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Operations leads a team of five direct reports spanning competitions, officiating, coaching pathways, and foundation programs, and holds operational oversight of the Communications Officer and Finance Officer.
This is a leadership and management role as much as it is an operational one. The Director of Operations ensures that BSA’s programs and services are delivered reliably, that staff are supported and held accountable, that workflows and communication standards are maintained, and that the CEO is free to focus on strategic, external, and board-facing responsibilities. The Director of Operations is the key link between the CEO’s direction and the organisation’s day-to-day execution.

The Coach Development and State Futsal Lead will oversee a broad range of operational, development, and leadership responsibilities including:
- Delivery of Football Australia aligned coach education courses and workshops
- Coordination of up to five C Licence courses annually
- Leadership of the Football SA State Futsal Program including trials, team selection, coach support, and national tournament attendance
- Planning and delivery of Futsal Development Centres

This is a hands-on role that includes regular evening and weekend work, as well as travel within South Australia and interstate.
Program Support Officer – Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing
The Program Support Officer plays a key role in the delivery, administration and continuous improvement of the Sports Vouchers Plus program, supporting increased access to community sport, active recreation and music across South Australia. The role is responsible for ensuring efficient service delivery, providing high-level support to ensure compliance with funding requirements and engaging and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
The role entails supporting the strategic direction and management of the program, contributing to policy development, and coordinating projects that align with ORSR’s strategic objectives. The officer will provide guidance to internal teams, support program improvements, and liaise with stakeholders to enhance the impact of ORSR’s funding initiatives.

Operations Supervisor – Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation centre – City of Onkaparinga
The Operations Supervisor is a key contributor to the Noarlunga Aquatic and Recreation Centre (NARC) leadership team, working closely with the Centre Coordinator, Customer Service Supervisor and Aquatic Programs Supervisor. The Operations Supervisor is required to provide leadership and direction to Duty Supervisors, Lifegaurds and maintenance and cleaning teams.
A major responsibility of this position is the management of all pool, plant, and operational equipment and systems to minimise any potential downtime for Centre operations. The role is the main safety contact for the facility and will promote and coordinate WHS requirements including emergency management planning. The position may be on a rotating roster and require some outside of ordinary work hours, including weekends, early mornings and evenings.
