Chris Dittmar

Squash

Inducted in 2017

Dittmar is considered the best player never to have won the World Open or British Open, events he has been a finalist in seven times over a ten year period and losing to one of the Khan brothers each time. Several times Chris would beat one of them in a Semi-Final only to lose to the other in the Final.

His proudest moment came in 1989 when captaining Australia to victory over Pakistan in the World Team Championships, winning 3-0 against a team with both the Khan brothers. He repeated the dose again captaining Australia to victory in 1991.

Dittmar won 11 International Titles in Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and Europe as well as three Australian Titles.
