Tammy Bryant is one of Australia’s most accomplished roller skaters, with a career spanning over two decades. She dominated both quad and inline roller skating at national and international levels. Bryant’s remarkable achievements include winning three World Championships (1995 on quads, 2003 and 2005 on inline skates), making her the only female skater to win world titles in both disciplines.
Her competitive career began in 1990 when she represented Australia at the World Championships in Germany at just 13 years old, finishing 10th. Bryant’s success continued with multiple podium finishes at World Championships and victories in prestigious international competitions like the South Pacific Championships, Oceania Championships, and the World Games Invitational. Nationally, she claimed 10 Senior and 3 Junior National Championships, as well as 16 Senior and 5 Junior State Championships. Bryant’s contributions to roller skating were recognized with her induction into the Skate Australia Hall of Fame in 1996 and multiple Athlete of the Year awards.
After retiring from competition, she transitioned to coaching, becoming the National Artistic Roller-Skating Coach in 2008.
