Ken Farmer

In South Australia, Farmer was known as the Bradman of Goal Kickers. In 13 seasons and 224 games for North Adelaide, he kicked 1,419 goals making him the highest ever goal scorer in the history of the SANFL. He managed to kick 100 goals in a season 11 years in a row including 35 10-goal bags.

He captained the Roosters to two premierships He represented the State 17 times averaging just under 5 goals a game. Farmer turned his hand to coaching which yielded two premierships at the Roosters, as well as a stint as the State Coach in 1954.

In 1998, he was inducted into the Australian Football Hall of Fame and the South Australian Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
