John Fitzgerald is one of the nation’s most successful tennis players.

Throughout his professional sporting career, he accrued six top-tier ATP Singles Titles and 30 Doubles ATP Tour Titles, including seven Grand Slam Men’s Doubles and two Grand Slam Mixed Doubles crowns.

He climbed to number one in the World Doubles rankings while partnering Swede Anders Jarryd in 1991, having already made it to a career high ranking of 25 as a singles player in 1988.

Among his many career achievements, John was an Olympian, Davis Cup winner and Davis Cup Captain. Since retiring, John has become an ambassador for Tennis Australia, a tennis commentator and, earlier this year, he was inducted into the Australian Tennis Hall of Fame.
