Bob Quinn was a distinguished Australian rules footballer who played for Port Adelaide from 1933 to 1947, amassing 239 games and scoring 386 goals.

He captained the team during multiple seasons and led them to three SANFL premierships, while also earning two Magarey Medals for his exceptional play. Quinn represented South Australia 15 times, serving as captain from 1945 to 1947, and was named in the inaugural All-Australian team in 1947.

After retiring from playing, he briefly coached Port Adelaide and was later inducted into both the Australian Football Hall of Fame and the South Australian Football Hall of Fame.
