Dr Kristyn Bell
Dr. Kristyn Bell, M.D. is a Sport and Exercise Physician Registrar on the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians (ACSEP). As part of her Specialist training, she works at a local Sports Medicine clinic in Adelaide, and has the honour of covering the local Adelaide Lightning Women’s NBL team as one of their team doctors.
She has both medically covered NPL football, and also played for Adelaide WNPL reserves and State reserves football teams, in the past year. She is an honorary lecturer at the University of Adelaide, where she is currently involved with Bone Research and the impact of diet on stress fractures in athletes – research she intends to implement into her future practice as a Sport and Exercise Physician.
Kristyn is passionate about people and advocating for their health, with a fervent belief that small changes can lead to large gains in all areas of one’s life – a philosophy she will bring to the organisation to support all athletes, but particularly, championing female athletes health and performance.
She is one of our newest members, joining the Board of Sport SA in November 2025.
