Training and Education
Sport SA is a registered training organisation (RTO No 2280) delivering quality training and assessment for individual students and industry within the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Sport SA provides nationally accredited and non-accredited training within the Sport and Recreation Industry.
Our current scope of delivery is from the Sport, Fitness and Recreation Training Package, with delivery in all Australian states.
Our delivery includes qualifications from Certificate II to Diploma in the areas of Fitness, Sport and Recreation, Community Recreation and Aquatics, Sports Trainer, Sport and Recreation Management and Sport Development. Sport SA has well established programs within the VET in Schools sector and offers tailored training programs in full-time or part-time traineeships.
Sport SA provides training in the following qualifications:
- Certificate II in Sport and Recreation
- Certificate III in Sport and Recreation
- Certificate II in Sport Coaching
- Certificate III in Aquatics and Community Recreation
- Certificate III in Fitness
- Certificate III in Sports Trainer
- Diploma of Sport Development
- Diploma of Sport and Recreation Management
Introduction of Unique Student Identifier (USI)
All students undertaking nationally recognised training delivered by a registered training organisation will need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). A USI gives students access to their online USI account which is made up of ten numbers and letters. Sport SA will be unable to issue any Qualification or Statement of Attainment without your USI.
All students must provide Sport SA with a valid USI at enrolment. For more information, or to create your USI, please visit www.usi.gov.au.
